There is a great number of professionals from different cultural contexts in disciplines dealing with the built environment, such as architects, visual artists, designers and urban planning now living in the United States of America, who have a great potential to contribute to a society known as a country of opportunities that also recognize the contributions of citizens from other latitudes.

Trained at Yale, Betsky has worked as a designer for Frank O. Gehry & Associates and Hodgetts + Fung, taught at SCI-Arc, and served as the director of the 11th Venice International Architecture Biennale.
