WHO WE ARE ?

Interamerican Designers Association

The Interamerican Designers Association is a non-profit organization, created to help immigrant professionals of the Americas related with the Design field, to incorporate themselves into the social and economic production systems of the USA. This association is mainly responsible for supporting its associates through a platform, which provides specific networking, teaching, licensures, products, services, programs, and information, to fulfill their professional needs. Our Association will also provide a range of procedures to foster opportunities to achieve jobs and works.

Mission & Vision

It is crucial for persons to feel responsible for their own welfare within the community that they belong to, in order to assume a commitment to create opportunities for their participation in a society, on the basis of the understanding of their social environment and the capabilities and strengths to act upon such environment.

MISSION

Proposes to bring together design professionals of different fields in order to participate in projects related to built environment, including private or public buildings, open spaces, art in public places and proposals for urban planning and design regulations, for the benefit of local communities.

VISION

To create an institutional platform integrating architects, visual artists, urban planners and related design professionals in order to promote their participation in private and public initiatives aimed to improve the environmental quality of sites and communities.

What we do

The INTERAMERICAN DESIGNERS ASSOCIATION promotes better environmental conditions in communities through different initiatives of projects on private and public spaces, based on the purpose of creating more stimulating places in response to the desires and needs of people as users of such places.
