Roman  Herrera is an architecture professional based in Miami. Since very young, he was fascinated by the design field, the fine arts, and drawing. Such a fascination made him pursue architecture studies at Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) which gave him a cultural foundation along with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. To expand his knowledge on the design realm, he received a Master of Architecture and a Master of City Planning focused on Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania. During several years he experimented with painting, until his architectural practice and his teaching passion made him share his working time as a Design Studio professor at UCV. Additionally, he attended the Program for Teachers of Architecture at the AA School of Architecture in London. Presently, he is devoting his extensive  experience and motivation to the Interamerican Designers Association,  as one of the founders, member of the Board of Directors, and Treasurer
